Newest Version of ULTRA to Protect Trademarks and Automate Copyright Law Suits

“Leading Internet monitoring company releases the newest version of ULTRA Intelligent Platform to track, document, and respond to the video sharing web sites”

San Francisco, California and Tokyo, Japan, April 2, 2007 -— Avestar-IP, the leading software as a service provider for the trademark protection, brand identity, and license compliance today announce the availability of the newest version of its ULTRA intelligent platform to protect trademarks and automate copyright lawsuits.

Due to the rampant growth of Internet sites that display unauthorized content and trademark materials, Avestar-IP has decided to release its software to help trademark owners to automate the process of tracking, documenting, and responding to the trademark and copyrights infringements.

The ULTRA Intelligence Platform launched at the 2005 RSA security and 125th INTA (International Trademark Association) shows and licensed to among others Iron Mountain Digital is considered by many trademark professionals and attorneys to be the most sophisticated platform for managing the complexities of trademark materials online.

According to an anonymous trademark head at one of Silicon Valley’s leading law firm “ULTRA does what other software and trademark services purport to do, period.” The ULTRA Intelligence Platform continuously spiders the web for trademark references and content on video sharing and other infringing web sites, archives the infringements, generates a cease and desist letter, tracks responses from the infringers and archives everything also to generate reports and support litigation and copyright lawsuits.

ULTRA plans a Japanese language version of its web based software to be released Q3 2007 for Japanese content owners whose content is at risk from unauthorized Internet distribution. Since 2006 JASRAC (Japanese Society for Rights of Authors, Composers, and Publishers) and 23 rights owner groups and companies have expressed concern to YouTube and other infringers regarding illegal posting and concrete measures to forestall copy right infringements. Currently, Japanese customers of ULTRA can work with Product Manager of Intellectual Property to harness the power of ULTRA and tracking and enforcing their Japanese language Intellectual Property.

Altura Ewers, co-founder of Avesar-IP and 12 year veteran of encryption and Intellectual Property field sees this as the beginning of international trade wars based on Intellectual Property protection and enforcement. “ The ironic thing is the American companies are crying for the enforcement of their Intellectual Property overseas, but the United States ranks second only to Nigeria in online fraud and Internet abuse. “ Ewers sees this as the beginning of a new era in which previously silent victims of Intellectual Property abuses come out in the open and take legal action to enforce their Intellectual Property rights.
